•In its latest air quality report, the European Union’s Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) noted that emissions of sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides have fallen by around 3-5% annually across the continent since 2010, with the biggest falls coming from industry and road transport.
